2010 HIGHLANDER CYCLE TOUR RIDES REVISED!

The Highlander, Midlander and Lowlander routes have been redesigned and renamed. For details go to the ride page. The Wanderer ride remains the same as in 2009 but has been renamed the Yodeler in keeping with the new naming scheme.

Follow the links to Google map routing to view the Tour routes. These links also provide course directions that can be loaded into a GPS or KML files to take a virtual ride on Google Earth. Note also that many of the roads in the Bristol area have Google street images so you can virtually check out some of the views.

HIGHLANDER STORE

As we have numerous Highlander item available for purchase by pre-ordering or at the event, we have consolidated them on a new web section called the Highlander Store. We encourage you to visit our store to check what items are for sale.

RIDER PERKS

In addition to the usual items in a goody bag given to all registered riders, we usually feature some special Highlander item, such as, bike socks, gloves, tee shirts, etc.. For 210 we plan to offer HCT branded tech hats.

IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER

The Highlander prides itself on providing a safe, well run, and accommodating event for all participants.

The Highlander staff takes the safety of the riders, the spectators, and the communities through which we ride very seriously. To promote this, each rider should have read and follow the NYS DOT cycling guidelines, found here:

If riders do not follow these guidelines, the Highlander may be forced to limit or terminate the ride. Your help and attention to keep the highlander a safe, premium tour is appreciated.
